The Best
Detector for Ion Analysis
Turn your HPLC System into a
High-Sensitivity Ion Chromatograph!
The Conductivity Detector provides
universal, reproducible, high-sensitivity detection of all
charged species. Use your HPLC system with the Conductivity
Detector for simple, reliable, and inexpensive quantification of
anions, cations, metals, organic acids, and surfactants down to
ppb level.

| Microprocessor-Based
for High Sensitivity and Extended Linearity The new advanced
microprocessor-based circuit improves detection
sensitivity by reducing baseline noise and drift. Linear
response extends over a wide range of analyte
concentrations.
|
 |
| Temperature-Controlled
Cell for Stable, Drift-Free Baselines Temperature fluctuations cause
baseline noise and drift with other conductivity
detectors. The temperature-controlled cell and heat
exchanger are isolated from external temperature changes
for stable baselines. Adjust or monitor cell temperature
(ambient - 80º C) easily from the detector's front
panel.
|
 |
| Works
with any IC Method The digital autozero in the Conductivity
Detector offsets high conductivity eluants (up to 10,000
µS/cm) within 5 seconds, for detection with
single-column or suppressor-based methods. Other
detectors designed for suppressor-based IC systems are
unable to offset the high conductivity eluants used in
SCIC.

Easy to Use, Troubleshoot,
and Maintain
The Conductivity Detector makes IC
analysis easier and more reliable. An intuitive membrane
key-panel controls all detector functions. Three working modes
(CALIBRATE, BACKGROUND, and MEASURE) let you check detector
electronics, red the eluant's absolute conductivity, or perform
analyses, respectively. Use the CALIBRATE mode to check the
detector's calibration and gain for compliance with ISO-9000,
GLP, or GMP programs. Use the BACKGROUND mode to check the
quality and accuracy of the eluant. The large LED display shows
detector signal, background conductance, cell temperature, or
cell temperature set point. Two keys allow you to set range from
0.1 to 5000 µS/cm or cell temperature from ambient to 80º C. An
RS-232 serial port provides digital communication and control via
an external computer.
