Tefzel^® Tubing

TEFZEL is an inert fluoropolymer that can withstand higher pressures* than TEFLON. The burst pressure of Tefzel tubing depends on the dimensions, solvent, temperature, and duration of exposure. So users should exercise caution, especially when using organic solvents and aqueous-organic mixtures, which cause rupture sooner than aqueous solutions.

PharMed^® Tubing

PharMed Tubing provides long life service in many of the same applications as our Tygon tubing. It exhibits excellent tensile strength and can be sterilized by autoclaving. PharMed is beige and is opaque to UV and visible light, which helps protect photosensitive reagents from degradation. PharMed withstands continuous exposure to temperatures from -75°F to 275°F(-59°C to 135°C). PharMed also has low permeability to gases.
