Direct injection of plasma onto an on-line HPLC extraction column in bioanalysis of drugs

BioTrap 500 is a new type of biocompatible extraction column in liquid chromatography. The column enables direct injection of up to 1000 microlitres plasma into the HPLC-system without any previous clean-up procedures. Urine, serum, milk, supernatants of cell cultures, fermentation broth and other complex matrices can also be injected. This is a new outstanding and timesaving technique in bioanalysis.
