Chrom Tech offers
the Kipp & Zonen single and dual channel flatbed
recorders. The BD 111 single channel and BD 112 dual
channel flatbed recorders are ideal instruments for use
in research, development and production as well as in
service and education.
With the home function the
recorder pen can be set back to the start of the plot.
This is especially relevant in case of comparative
measurements. The grid function moves the pen
exactly to a grid line on the paper. In case of
repetitive measurements the pen can be put into the right
starting position easily.
The physical distance between the pens
of a dual channel recorder causes a shift in the time
axis of the plot. This makes it hard to make a comparison
between the recorded signals. With the Pen Offset
Compensation unit the distance between the pens is
electronically compensated. This results in synchronous
recording of both channels.
The recorders can be fitted with an
extra potentiometer on the servo system. The output
signal of this potentiometer can be used to monitor the
pen position. Besides analog outputs, a recording channel
can be fitted with a serial port if a Pen Offset
Compensation module is installed. The sampling rate is
directly proportional to the paper speed.
A high impact plastic case provides
strength and permits a modern, attractive design. Much
attention was given to the ergonomics. The shape of the
recorder makes it easy to write comments on the chart,
even next to the pen. The controls are very simple to
use.
Kipp and Zonen has a history of more
than 150 years and their experience in building recorders
is unsurpassed. This is reflected in the high quality and
reliability of our instruments.
