Gradient System

The Series IV Gradient System features two Series IV Pumps and a Model 500 UV/Vis Detector. Other detectors are available. High pressure binary gradients can be performed by simply programming the Series IV pumps, using a Master/Slave configuration. Programming allows for the storage of up to nine gradient programs with twenty steps each in linear segments. Auto-repeat, isocratic Quickmix^TM and control programming loading allows simplified method development and operation. Autoprime^TM one-button purging makes it easy to prime or purge the pumps.

The system includes an injection valve with a 20 µL loop, injector bracket, column holder, gland nuts, ferrules, mixing tee and tubing. Available in 316 seamless Stainless Steel and biocompatible flow paths. The pumps are available with a 0.01-9.99 mL/min. 50 µL head or a 0.04-40 mL/min 200 µL head.
